With all this twittering I write less on my blog. I am getting some complaints :)
Here a new entry. And also check out a short article in the 'on music' section', the top one.
I studies tonight and it ws a good session. Bach again. Flute Partita, I keep coming back to this piece. It's great music and every time I fnd new layers and new ways to play it...

Tomorrow teaching. Preparing my students for their exams. Lots of Desenclos, Glazounow etc...

BTW anyone know of a good arr. of the Glazounow Concerto for wind orchestra and sax?

Doing some work

Doing some work. Saúl is a sleep next to me. I am listening to a new work bij Ian Wilson for quartet and tabla which we might premier next season with Niti Ranjan Biswas. It's a very good piece!
This week some rehearsals with Amstel and some meetings. I had two weeks of holidays more or less. To be with the new family, with Ailed and Saúl. This week I do have some work and that is hard because I got used to being with my family. But of course there's an ideal mix of work and family. And I will find it!
